How to Get Scorchhowl in Aniimo

Catch it in Beast Fang Ridge

1. Go to Beast Fang Ridge. aniimo.guide’s 1.0 table and the official habitat list put wild Scorchhowl in this region only. Spawn listings sit in the high 20s to mid 30s: Aniicodex’s client scene table has points at levels 29–34, and aniimo.guide’s region band is 31–36. Bring a team that can fight that range. GameRant’s floor is level 26, nearer 30 if the Alpha is the plan.
2. Open the map, filter for Scorchhowl, and ride to the marker. AllThingsHow describes the basic form as one placed spawn, not a pack you stumble into. Aniicodex’s client scene table lists two Beast Fang Ridge points at levels 29–34, one of them tied to thunder, plus a boss spawn. The Alpha is a separate marker in the same ridge and is up all day. The nearest Bloom on that boss listing is Beast Fang Ridge.
3. The Alpha sits east of Sanctum: Water to Ice, in the middle of a three-stone monolith. GameRant’s pin for the same fight is -1264, 1381: the northwest hill above the forest, between the large boulders, with rocks marked on the map. Use the in-game Alpha marker if those two descriptions do not land on the same rock.
4. The in-game help says the ground it attacks keeps burning, and walking through it applies a Fire debuff. Water skills put those flames out. Dodge when the warning areas appear. On the client element table, Earth and Water hit basic Scorchhowl for 1.6×. Fire, Grass, and Ice hit for 0.625×.
5. When its health bar empties, it becomes capturable. Aniicodex lists a 28% baseline for an unaware wild Scorchhowl on a plain Aniipod. Lower its health, break it, and throw from behind to raise that. Aniipod Ultra always catches on that table. AllThingsHow says Ultra and Sparkling Cube are the pods to use on a weather form, because that window is one spawn. You get one throw at an Alpha after the fight. You cannot catch an Alpha while Twined, and the Alpha catch spends Primegy.

Raise Emberpup

1. Catch an Emberpup. The official habitat list is Nimbus Fields, The Mistwoods, The Argent Strait, Echoback Landing, and Beast Fang Ridge. GameRant also finds Flameruff already walking in Nimbus Fields, so you can start at the middle stage. Highland Emberpup is the Russet Highlands form (GameRant also names Zephyrus Landbridge). Mountain Woods Emberpup is the Beast Fang Ridge form.
2. Clear Sanctum: First Spark. GameRant places that sanctum at -1098, 0632. Then evolve Emberpup at Aniimo level 12 into Flameruff. This step spends no stone. A Highland Emberpup has to be in Russet Highlands for that evolution. A Mountain Woods Emberpup has to be in Beast Fang Ridge during daytime.
3. Defeat Alpha Scorchhowl once. That unlocks Flameruff’s Scorchhowl branch. LDShop says you do not have to win with the Flameruff in the party. Blaze Stones drop from Alpha Aniimo. AllThingsHow’s first-clear list for this Alpha includes Blaze Stone x5, plus Safaris x500, one Irisalis Petal, Glimmer x50, and a Lumin Amber: Breezy Plains. Repeat clears still drop Blaze Stone on that page.
4. Raise Flameruff to Aniimo level 20 and spend one Blaze Stone. One Flux Crystal replaces that stone. Basic Scorchhowl has no extra place or time check. Highland Scorchhowl also requires Russet Highlands. Mountain Woods Scorchhowl also requires Beast Fang Ridge during daytime. Do not confirm Inferlupa if you want Scorchhowl. Inferlupa is the other level-20 branch: complete Journey: Warrior, one Night Stone (or one Flux Crystal), and six Unbroken Flameruff Spirit.

Thunderstorm and Prismana forms

1. Thunderstorm Scorchhowl spawns only in Beast Fang Ridge during a thunderstorm. Rain is not enough. Check the map weather up to 24 hours ahead, or change the time of day until a storm cloud sits on Beast Fang Ridge. GamesHorizon says one Thunderstorm variant appears for that storm. It is catch-only. You do not evolve into it. GameRant’s catch method is to follow lightning striking the ground. A blue sparkling Aniimo logo marks a special spawn, but that article says the icon does not by itself give the exact spot.
2. Prismana Scorchhowl is the same ridge under Prismana Flow. Set that weather from the Branch of Breezy Plains, return to Beast Fang Ridge, and go left from the Alpha’s arena. AllThingsHow and GamesHorizon both use that left-of-Alpha spot.
3. A Morph Orb can restyle a Scorchhowl you already own into a form you have already caught, except Prismana. GameRant’s shop price is 300 Glimmer, limit 10 a week, under the pause menu at Shop, Items, Glimmer. Open Aniimo Management, select the creature, open the exclamation-mark tab, and choose Change Form. You need the destination form registered first. The orb does not create your first Scorchhowl.

Custom Box egg

The Elite Training Custom Box - DPS, the same one-pick box as how to get Thornblade and how to get Sherro, can hatch a Perfect Potential Scorchhowl. GameRant says it arrives after 10 Elite Training levels, in Inventory under Common Items. Aniicodex’s egg table also lists a Shining Scorchhowl Egg with a 5-hour hatch.

Do you have to beat Alpha Scorchhowl?

For the evolution, yes. A wild basic Scorchhowl can still be caught in Beast Fang Ridge without that unlock. The Alpha is the gate on Flameruff to Scorchhowl, and you can catch the Alpha itself on the one throw after the fight.

Does Scorchhowl become Inferlupa?

No. Inferlupa is the other branch from Flameruff. It needs Journey: Warrior, one Night Stone, and six Unbroken Flameruff Spirit. This page’s evolution stops at Scorchhowl.
